I was looking for a toy that was pretty and a nice quality for my 18-month old to work on threading things on to a smaller dowel than the traditional fisher price plastic toy. The wood is a nice quality wood as is the finish.

I was so pleased when this arrived (and so was my grandbaby). Since this is slightly smaller than the standard plastic version, the rings are perfect size for him to grip. It's a beautiful piece on the shelf too, I just couldn't be happier.

Love this Montessori style toy. I love that all pieces are safe and wooden- even the paint is non-toxic water based. The colors are cute and muted, giving a break from everything being primary colors while still appealing to baby.
